| Well, I spent ALL DAY working on the driver's side yesterday. Start to finish maybe 10 hours total, some chit chat and some breaks in between but I finished the drivers side all in one day.
The bad....one of the tubes rubs!!!!! Looks like I'll have to modify it before I can put it on the road but it'll stay for now. turn all the way to the left and the tire catches one of the tubes. Oh well, I should have done one last test fit before i welded that one but you live and learn.
I'm gunna try to finish the passenger side on wednesday or thursday. It should be easier since I'll just be mimicking the other side except I'll have to fix that tube that rubs on the tire.
Overall it's pretty challenging. You get some weird angles and some tough spots to weld but I actually enjoyed it all. I didn't get frustrated once! haha
"StarchiefsGirl" has photos of the headers. I'll post them later. They look pretty wicked!

| cant wait to see the pics. Again, i must admit it is nice that mine is the chevy drivetrain, i just bought the headers, but at the same time you do get a really good sense of acomplishment when you do things like that yourself. | |

| As cool as it is to build your own headers I do with I could buy these off the shelf! Here are the pics. the bottom weird lookin pipe is the one that rubs a little bit. I guess I'll chop a section out of it and see if I can work around the tire. I'm not too worried about it right now. The picture makes it look like it has a bunch of unnecessary bends in it but they were semi needed. haha And some cool pics my friend Alison took I'll take some more pictures of them out of the car so you can see them better. They look pretty cool | |

| I got some more work done today. It's pretty tough to replicate the other header. haha but I got one tube done. I'm not entirely satisfied with where the collector sits in relation to the other side but it's close enough.
My friend (Casualty178 on this forum) took some photos of my progress today along with photos of the other header installed. I'm getting closer!

| Well I got a little bit of progress. I started fabbing up the 3rd and 4rd tube on the passenger side but one of them rubbed so I'm gunna have to re engineer that side. This is a pain!!! There just isn't enough room! | |

| OK They're done!!!!! No rub, all fully welded. I just need to take them to a machine shop and put the flange on a big belt sander so get the welds flattened out. I just got a new phone so I'll post pics when I figure out how to get them off my phone and on to my compter | |

| Well I took these with my old phone. Casualty178 has more that were taken on a real camera that I am waiting on him to upload.
They are installed now and they look SWEETTTTT!!!!! One tube on each side is in the way of one of the bolt so I need to hammer it in a little bit to make room for the bolt head.
SHIT! Photobucket is down. Hold on
