Windshield Wiper Issue
Pontiac-59 - Portal EmptySun Sep 25, 2022 10:47 pm by PontiaCat59
My windshield wipers stop, restart, stop, etc. for no apparent reason.  Duration of stoppage varies and doesn't appear to be related to vehicle speed or rainfall intensity.  Anyone had this problem?  Solution?  Thoughts?
Thanks,

There are at least 221 members to this website. There is a reason that you signed on.  I can't believe that none of you have nothing to share on your 59s.  Don't be bashful, post something,
you'll be surprised in the interest.

Finally getting the Silver Bullet rewired!
Pontiac-59 - Portal EmptySun Sep 06, 2015 10:45 am by starchief_59
After talking about rewiring my Pontiac for years now, it's finally going to happen. I figured it would actually get done if I hired someone else to do. I'll let yall know in a few weeks how it turns out.

After that, I'm going to pull the motor and repaint it and install the freeze plugs that popped out when it froze, detail the engine bay and then I'm going to go through the brakes and see why …

Woodward Dream Cruise 2019
Pontiac-59 - Portal EmptyMon Aug 26, 2019 9:33 pm by PontiaCat59
For several years I have attended the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit, MI (Google it).  This year I finally took my
Catalina Convertible so that I could experience driving the boulevard with some of the other 40,000 car nuts.  Had a great time and was able to meet up with a fellow 59 owner who I met a coupe of years ago.  Attached (I hope) are pictures of my red Catalina and a blue …

This is a valuable website (resource) for 59 Pontiac owners yet the last posting was made December 25th 2015.  Come on people, don't let this die on the vine!  Surely many of you have questions or have projects in progress.  Share, share, share!  So as to not be labeled a hypocrite, here is my latest tip:  Make sure there are no tools or parts on top of the air cleaner when the car is up on …
