| I'm thinking about making headers for 1959 Pontiacs. Would anyone be interested? | |

| If they tuck in, don't hang too low, and can utilize the exhaust with the cross frame..... YES!!! | |

| Cross frame?
I'm thinking about making them go under the frame before the frame bottoms out so there will be plenty of ground clearance and should be far away from the starter and tranny linkage.
Maybe I'll make a set and whoever helps make sure they fit can have a set.

| I have zero room to go under the frame. Any exhaust routed under my car needs to go through the frame like the existing exhaust or I will bottom out. | |

| You mean in the back? How does your exhaust go under the frame in the front? | |

| It wraps under the frame before it drops off an levels out. (Really close to the front) | |

| I'll take a look and see if I can make the headers flare out instead of straight back so they won't have to go under it. | |

| Ideally, a cross between block huggers and shortys would work best. There isn't too much room available more than what the stock manifolds take up. The design of the frame really restricts what can be done with the exhaust. | |

| It can be done but they won't look like any other headers on the market. haha I still want to build some side mount headers for mine.
In my head I can see how it can be done. I know that area pretty well since I've tried 3 different headers and had them all on and off like 50 times.
I'm broke right now but when I get some cash I'll order some tubing and fab up a set. I spent $1000 on a welding rig about 6 months ago and I figure I can make some money with it so I want to start by making some headers.
