You kindly sent me a link to a lot of your photos a year or two ago ...

It is good to see your build progressing and the attention to detail - I remain impressed with your workmanship

My build is also progressing, but not so fast ....and maybe not quite as good, but it is progressing.

Will try to update over the coming weeks, whilst I catch up on your progress over the last few years

Your car seemed much more damaged than mine. And needs a lot of work, courage for the future. I hope to see you arrive at the end of this long work.

The bodywork goes to the paint shop, the return is expected in a year (it's very long ...). But they are artists.

The frame is paint ' black satin'

I am beginning to have some issues with the rear axle of my car, leaks and such.  I don't supposed that I could convince you to send to me your fully completed rear axle?

Thank you, but I wouldn't allow myself to shame the people who worked hard in the factories in Detroit or elsewhere.
My pace is far from theirs. I take the time on every detail. In the factory it is impossible.
Of course I find traces of poorly done work in 1958, but this makes it original today.
And I salute all those people who made these beautiful cars.
My country was the birthplace of the automobile, but yours has made it an extraordinary culture. The dream had its place in the realization of these cars.

The parts for the rear axle come from FABCRAFT Métalworks.

Work on the frame is in progress.
