| A fellow car nut @ work introduced me to one of his buddies that I've heard for years has a home built El Catalina. Well I saw it yesterday and was in awe. Love and want it! Its construction, done mainly by his father in the 70's using a Bonneville 2 dr. with parts from an El Camino and Starchief wagon I think he said. Amazing car.

| " /> Wow I cant believe I got it. Thanks to CAT SS 59 and his instructions to The Lew in the 'slow but steady' post, here is a pic of the car(or truck) I was speaking of in the first post. Enjoy. Now I can show off my Castle blue Catalina when she comes home from paint. | |

| Finfan, that sure is a cool looking 59. I'm glad you were able to get it. Probably a one and only. Are you going to add the chrome trim on the fins? Thanks for the pic, Jim | |

| Whoa no, I meant I got the pic to work!! The owner who is now a friend says "everything is for sale". I would love to own it but I have to many cars at the moment. He is going to put that trim on the wings by the way.
