What are the best places you guys found...to find parts and such?

I am relly wanting to finish up my 59 4-door Starchief...but the parts hunting have been giving me a fit. I search Ebay and have found some good things, but I am a 'Catalog" type guy and love a good company. I have the Ames catalog, but there just is not alot of 59 items that I need most. Any good places or websites out there?
I am looking for a new windshield, backup lenses, window felt and door felt, key switches, uphostery kits, headliner, etc....just to name a few.

For upholstry, windlace, and headliner, etc you can't beat smsautofabrics.com. I've used Indianapontiacs.com for some body parts. Carpet can be had from many sources, I used stockinteriors.com, Glass from restoglass.com, and Performanceyears.com has a good catalog and compares to Ames. Rubber from steelerubber.com and also has a good catalog. Good luck, Jim

Richie.....all the vendors that Jim mentioned are good sources for parts, but you are begining to find out what we've learned over the years. There just isn't the return on investment for the reproduction parts manufactures to spend time and money for our cars. That's not to say that it's impossible, just that it takes a little more effort to track them down. Also, there are several members here, who are more than willing to help put you in the right direction. Why don't you continue this topic in the Restoration section of the forum, with specifics of each thing you're working on. That way we can help on a part by part basis......John
