| What kind of condition are you looking for? I'm sure you're aware that finding one in perfect shape is next to impossible. I can check with the guy I get parts from. It may not be perfect, but will be for the correct 2bbl. I would be willing to get it for you for what I would get it for. Not sure what shipping would be. I guess it depends what you are willing to pay.

| markymark.....Which 2bbl do you have? The standard 2bbl is larger than the one for the 420E. The throat opening for each is different......John | |

| Thanks for the response-Im not too sure which carb I have -Ill have to check it out-according to the shop manual the choke system is a bit different and mine looks identical to the 2gc in the shop manual. Anything else to look for?
Blue Bomber, thanks for the lead. I dont really care too much about condition, as long as its decent. My 70's aircleaner on it now is atrocious. Are the filters easy to come by with originals?

| All the Rochester 2GC carbs have the same diameter throat and you should have no problem clearing the choke assembly, since the air cleaner is dished on the bottom. I will check tomorrow, to see if he has any. I am not interested in making money, just helping out when I can. The air cleaner elements a standard size that should be readily available to you. I will get the number of the one I have. I will let you know as soon as I hear something..Sound okay? | |

| markymark.....The standard 2bbl is larger, and has the choke housing mounted at the base of the carb with a linkage up to the choke plate. The smaller "420E" carb has the choke housing mounted to the main body close to the throat, just like the center carb of a Tri-Power. There are two different part numbers for these because the "420E" has a smaller throat than most Rochester 2GCs......John | |

| Well mines definitely the standard variety then based on the choke position. Good to know. Thanks. Mark | |

| Mark- I have not forgot about you. I am on the hunt for a decent air cleaner. The one I found was too rusty to even bother with. My friend's Dad is looking through his "collection". As soon as I hear something, I will let you know. I check with him almost daily. Chad | |

| I had about 10 of these at one point. Seemed like every car I bought had one on the carb and 3 in the truck. I forget which car I threw them all in when I sold it. easiest way to get rid of parts hahaha
I'll see if I have any laying around

| I am still looking....The ones I found were too far gone to be of any use. Just about every one had rust holes where the other did not. I have not forgotten....the needle in the haystack theory comes into play here somewhere. I have a few more leads and I won't give up.....Chad | |
