| that white stuff is cold and yucky, some people call it snow, i call it evil, pure evil!! I just lowered the car by cutting the springs. I just need to get some new shocks cause the old ones are real old!! They had 1968 stamped in them. I can jump on the front or back and it seems fine, we'll see what happens once i start driving her. It does look a bit better, also need some whitewalls and my funky hubcaps on it still. | |

| I cut two coils out, in all four corners. I have some cool hubcaps from a 59 dodge a buddy gave me that have a checker board design on them that im going to paint black and green(same green as the top of the car) I cant afford white walls but i found some paint i might try out for tires. It does look kinda bad ass with it lowered. Imagine seeing and hearing that comeing down the road at night, especially since with the matte black paint its hard to see at night!! I'll have to make a video of it. | |

| Cool ! - I have to warn you about painting the tires - i tryed that once on a old FIAT i had - it turned brown like shit, and was not removable, which ment i was stuck with tyres that had brown writing on them.
That evil white stuff has got us too at the moment - the coldest winter here since 96 - talk about global warming....

| Canadian only.
Interestingly, I ran across a 1974 Pontiac Laurentian here in Texas a few months ago. Basically a 1974 Catalina with Chevy power. Odd to see down here.
Then again, I was the only owner of a 1992 Pontiac Tempest in the U.S.

| yeah dude! i know what you mean. i slipped on a huge patch of ice and hit a curb in my VW last winter and cracked my rim when i could have been fine with any bigger tires. sometimes i hate that car haha its 17s with lower profiles to... but when i replaced the tires i got the next size up, but they are still to small | |

| Not to brag but I haven't found an instrument yet that I can't play... trouble is the resulting sounds don't even come close to resembling "music"! LOL | |

| really, the big ol bass is pretty hard to play, tough on the hands, rips the end of your fingers right off!! Are you in a band, or have been in any? Being in Texas, have you heard of Grady? great band, fronted by a guitar wheelin canuck!! | |

| haha yall crack me up
I used to be in a punk rock band in high school. Actually a bunch of different bands consisting of mostly the same members. We were called "Catfish Dealer" for a while and then "DiseaseXcore" which I never liked the name. Then we did a Misfits cover band as "Electric Voz(voice in spanish)" We played one show as EV and one show as CD and then we kind of crashed a party and ended up playing a few songs haha We sucked
I mostly just play country with my dad now. I have a '77 Ovation Matrix with an aluminum fretboard and I have an Ibanez Hollowbody and a SilverTone from the 50s. My dad has a 61 Gibson Melody Maker, a 75 Ovation Baladeer, a 79 Ovation Baladeer custom, a 78 Ovation Ultra, 2002 or so high end Ovation not sure what model, and a late 90s Takemine acoustic. My mom has a 1974ish Fender Acoustic.
I don't really care for electrics the acoustic sound is just so raw and so idk natural. That and I don't have room for my amp in my apartment haha
Jay, do you play guitar at all?

| wow, he likes the ovations! cool. had a 73 ovation, sounded like crap though, unpluged and though an amp. Ive got two norman acoustics, which are made here in quebec canada, one is a 90's 6 string, and my baby is a 12 string from the late 60s. Just used as a 6 string now, the guitar cant handle the pressure of 12, sounds amazing, wouldent sell it or trade it for anything (well, maybe a 59 gibson, or 59 pontiac!!) I am making a fretless bass right now, like the one les claypool plays, a carl thompson. | |
