| I was looking at a 1959 Ford grill and noticed how the grill kind of looks like little stars...then I got to thinking, what if I put a 59 Ford grill on my 59 Pontiac? HHMMM I think that would be cool. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dok1/114803330/See how it looks like stars I think that would be cool instead of the slits on the stock Pontiac grill. And I think I could make it fit. | |

| I'm going to go to the junkyard tomorrow I hope to see about getting a Pontiac rear end. I know they used to have 2 59 Fords and we'll see how much he wants for a grill.
I think it would look sweet!

| I think the one right down the road from it is "Pick N Pull" and I think there is another yard out there also
Jay, we need to make a trip to this guys place in NB. It's out of town a few miles and its at some old mexican guys house. His back yard is filled with old cars. Last time I went (maybe 3-4 years ago) he had at least 12 restorable tri 5 chevies and lots of other cool shit

| Yeah, it was nice in the sun. I got around to wrapping the spigots on the outside of the house...
I think my thermocoupler on my water heater is screwed...Pilot light has gone out 2x today.
And you know we love our Canadians!
Anyway, the '59 Ford idea is pretty damned sweet!

Oh well, fine now but it was -4 degrees while i was doing it! So down there in texas, is there alot of scrap yards with old tin in them still??

| haha wow screw that
Check out the CTC autoranch in Denton, Tx. It has to be 200 acres of all old cars 1940s-1970s. It's insane
There use to be Daley salvage in Columbus, Tx. I know there number is disconnected and their website is gone. They claimed 75 acres and over 3000 cars. All old stuff
And more locally all we have is Nick's Wrecking which about 4-5 years ago when I first started going there it was 100% all old cars. Now it's about 15% all old cars. Pretty sad
There's also John's in Seguin but I've never been there and theres a guy with about 100 cars behind his house not too far from here. He's a cool old mexican dude
