It needs a V12 Lincoln...

Quote :

Have you heard this story of the Hot Rod Race
When Fords and Lincolns was settin' the pace
That story is true, I'm here to say
I was drivin' that Model A

It's got a Lincoln motor and it's really souped up
That Model A body makes it look like a pup
It's got twelve cylinders, uses them all
It's got overdrive, just won't stall

With a 4-barrel carb and a dual exhaust
With 4.11 gears you can really get lost
It's got safety tubes, but I ain't scared
The brakes are good, tires fair

I think the original was "when the fords and mercurys were setting the pace" and "v8 motor..."

Jay, have you heard the precursors to "hot rod lincoln?"

"hot rod race (1-5)" were done in the early 50s by a guy named Arkie Shibley. If you don't have it I'll burn you the CD. He's pretty bad ass

Hot Rod Lincoln was kind of like the 6th version of "hot rod race"

I'd put an engine and trans in it, get it legal and drive it as is. Very Happy

It's a little more rough than I really want to do. And I really want to do a pick up. AND I really want that 62 GP. I have a few buyers lined up so I'm hoping I can unload it
