Got my $5.00 ebay seat cover last Friday and got everything intalled this weekend. Original '59 seat cover + lots of sewing by someone with no sewing experience (me) = surprisingly not too shabby. Originally both seats were covered by sheets and seat covers....

In order to make everything work with the original seats and the ebay find (which shrunk from age) I had to pull ALL the seams in the seats to create the "new" ones. The front seat consists of parts from the original front seat, the original back seat & the ebay find. The back seat consists of the original back seat, the ebay find & actual new fabric I found in a fabric store.

I was watching these on ebay just to use the material for something. I'm glad I didn't bid! I plan on making a shifter boot with my original front seat cover.

Looking good man, I love the Satr Chief Seats!
