I picked these up over the summer.  They were out of a Chevy and except for being dirty were in great condition.  Was this color pattern used on the Pontiacs too?

Michael…..Pontiac and Chevrolet shared the same seat structure, so those will fit if they are 1959-60. The pattern however, is not even close to what was in your car. If they are not 1959-60, they may still fit. Measure the distance from side to side of the mounting holes in the floor, and compare that to the distance on the seat tracks……John

Thanks John.

They're out of either a 59 or 60 Chevy.  I'm pretty sure it was a 59 Biscayne.  Sorry, forgot to mention that earlier.  They were still partially wrapped in the clear plastic from the factory.  That's why they were in such good shape.

The odd part is if I look at the sample listings on SMS auto fabrications web site, they only list these seats as being from a 60 Chevy wagon.  I still have the origonal pictures the seller sent to me and I'm sure they did not come from a station wagon.

At any rate, I wasn't worried so much about the fit.  I knew they were interchangable when I bought them.  But I was hoping the fabric was somewhat close to what was used in the 59 Pontiacs.  We all have pipe dreams right?  LOL

I've been collecting parts for at least 3 years now and I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen anything close to this quality from a 59 Pontiac of any color let alone mine.  I'll have them reupolstered to be Pontiac correct at some point in the future but for now they'll do.
