| Does anyone have a close up picture of how their throttle linkage connects to the carburetors? Looks like a pain in the ass. I'm trying to make something that doesn't look ghetto. haha | |

| You're probably the only one here with dual 4 bbls. All you need though is from pedal to carb and carb to carb. With the manual transmission there's no kickdown linkage. Pretty simple job. | |

| It's all hooked up, I just want to see what an original linkage looks like. Mine still needs some modification because of the bend or something in the linkage.
It's hard to explain but if I floor it the carbs are not open all the way.

| If memory serves right, shorten the linkage from the carb to the pedal. This will raise the pedal and give you more travel to open the carbs all the way. | |

| Found a pic of mine. I had to custom fab an extension on the carb to get the "action" I wanted. Also looked at your linkage in another thread. The angle you have looks like the linkage will have a lot of slack in it before it actually opens the carbs. Looks like it will swing up before ever actually pulling on the carb linkage. (Don't know if that makes sense) | |

| Exactly and it's pissing me off! haha I've modified it since then but it's still not working as well as I'd like. | |

| I'm tempted to cut it and weld it back on. Or cut the ball thing off and move it further back. | |

| If you could get the progressive linkage to work the way you want to ideally you could hook up the pedal to the front carb rather than the back carb. It would give you more room to play and should take care of your "slack" problem by changing that angle you have. | |

| There is a bolt hole under the throttle that I screwed a bolt into so the pedal linkage would rest on that and not go down all the way and have slack.
I guess I could set up the carbs backwords and see if that would work.

| Did you get your linkage figured out yet? | |

| It's better but not perfect. With the pedal down as fas as it feels like it wants to go the carbs arent quite WOT yet. Still tweaking it. Still looking for a 4 barrel or a 2 barrel OEM linkage picture. | |
