Paid $700 for this 1981 Silverado. Has a crate 350, 4bbl, turbo 400 with full manual valve body, headers and dual exhaust. A little rust in the cab corners but otherwise solid.

About a week before i got it, I ran across a rare factory tach cluster for $10 in a local u-pull-it.

I also replaced the original lower steering shaft with a Jeep steering shaft.

Sadly no Robert. I completely missed it due to work and other things going on. I have seen pics though and it looked like a great turn out.

Unfortunately, this truck also got totaled a couple of months ago...Someone texting slammed into it in front of my house. Sad

I do have a new truck project lined up but it needs a lot. A 1988 GMC stepside that will eventually become an Indy Pace truck clone with a Tuned Port 350.

You've noticed the location of the door handles and the fact that it has no front driveshaft? Laughing
