| We've had this thing for a few years and has served us well. But the 3.8 is getting tired and the trans has started slipping. It's a 1995 Olds Silhouette. The Cadillac of minivans!! I've put on 16" Cutlass Supreme wheels, KYB shocks and struts and Addco sway bars, have a set of Eibach lowering springs but haven't installed them, looking for a rear disc brake set up from a Pontiac 6000 STE. So for the engine transplant, I've located - for very cheap - an L67 3800 with trans and everything. This thing will outhandle Corvettes (I've pissed off a LOT of 'vette owners) and if things go right, it will outrun them as well. | |

Damn! What the hell were you thinking? If I went traditional V8, it would be a Pontiac since the damn van is a lot of Pontiac parts.

| I thought it was funny myself.
When I worked at a Mercedes garage, a guy had us drop a TPI 350 in a 500SL.
Say Robert, do you know of any sites for parts for 1970s Power Wagons?

| No, I don't know of any sites. Seems that the following for power wagons is not huge but the fans that are out there are hard core. haha
What do you have on your mind? You can't tease me with power wagon stuff

| A guy on another board was asking about finding parts.
All I have is the tach, which if it's still there, it's still yours.

| It's yours. Bezel and all. I pulled it knowing it was rare from a truck we dragged off for free as the property owners asked us to. Truck was pretty loaded up too, cruise, A/C, ect but was rusted out. Wasn't a LRE or Warlock though. | |
