I paid $400 for the pair so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The '59 Lesabre was just to save from the crusher, plus I need the centerlink and the front sway bar for my Pontiac. The 1967 Skylark is just bad ass so I bought it. It's a rust free 2 door hard top. I'm thinking SLEEPER project. 455 with a 4 speed eventually. Just prime it and leave it. It's rust free with only surface rust. Not even a pinhole in the body, floor pans or trunk pans. It's a 300ci 2 barrel auto right now. I have an extra 4 speed. Now I need a 455 with a stick bellhousing.

By the way did you see the 2 59 bonneville's on e-bay - one of them is 'just' 99500 !. I mean it's a beuaty in the pictures, but that is alot of money...

I got the skylark today. That's one cool looking car! I'm gunna put it in primer soon. I'm thinking rattle can so it'll make a good sleeper. Im also thinking bucket seats and a 455 with a 4 speed...

Ditching the 455 idea and going with the 1959 336 Pontiac motor I already have. May turn it into a 421 but at least a 389. I already have a bellhousing and flywheel and 4 speed so I'm going with that.
