MDA Car Show

There was a local car show in my area this past weekend. I'm guessing there were about 300 or so entries. Of course there were some really fine rides there.

Mine was the only 59 Pontiac... well almost. There was a Rat Rod that was built using portions of a 59 Star Chief. It's builder was in his early 20's and was thrilled to see my 59 because "he'd never seen a complete 59 in person!"

The 59 Rat Rod was a sight. As I mentioned the builder is in his early 20's and I was very impressed with his "car" enthusiasm especially his interest in the old rides. So many young guys are only interested in the imports.

You may have noticed the 60 Buick with it's bright lime paint scheme and orange/green interior... "understated" elegance I guess.

As far as big cars, the red DeSota with swivel seats was an eye catcher as well.
