| Hello to all!
This forum page wasn't easy to find...
Anyway, I am one lucky dude. I just picked up a 59 bonneville coupe for reeeeal cheap. It has been setting in a garage for the last 15 years and set in a feild for several years before that. I purchased her from the second owner. He got the car in 62 or 3. Still had the bank notes and his original bill of sale. The bill of sale shows he traded a 57 lincon for it. ...neat stuff I thought. I initially bought it to re sell because I knew I could make some money but as I was admiring it and loading it on the trailor, the Ol man handed me a piece of paper with his home address on it and said that his wife would like to see photos of it every once in a while because he had taken her to the hospital twice to deliver their children in that car (the kids are in their 40s now). That's all I needed to convince myself to keep it.
It's all there except a few pieces. ...that is for another post later. I hate to spout off parts I need in my first post. A definate plus tho, I came with stainless steel fender skirts in great shape!
I'd post a photo but I'm doing this from my iPhone and don't know if I can do that. ???
Looking foward to speaking with you all!!!

Feel free to post away about the needed parts. You never know, some of us may have some spare parts available that you need.

| Okay thanks. I'm just looking for a few trim pieces right now and I posted those in the items wanted forum.
I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. It has the original 389 but it is seized. ...don't know if I'll be able to free it up or not. I think the ol fella already tried because the heads are already off. I definately have no intention of keeping it a complete original. Unfortunately when this guy got it in 62 someone had already put some different seats in it front and back and the door panels aren't original either. Being a Bonneville Coupe I can't help but wonder if it originaly had the bucket seats option... The mounting holes for the hood and trunk emblem were filled in and painted over at some point too. ...I'm making it sound like a real turd but it has potential I promise. Haha
when I can get some pictures up I'm gonna be open to some suggestions because I'm not sure which direction to take it at the moment.

I've got a '63 389 that I would be willing to part with for $400 and I've got the tranny to go with it

| Thanks man. I'll keep that 389 of yours in mind.
I've decided to keep it but I'll keep you in mind if something were to come up.
...I had to brag because this is the first time I ever got a deal like this.
I've got some tidbits to take care of on my 50 sedan delivery and it'll be time start on the 59!
