Vintage '59 Poncho pics

Some of you may know I have a fondness for 1940s-70s transit buses and trolleys as well as cars. So in looking at vintage pics of them and there's Ponchos as well as any other cars I like near by, I save the pics.

On to the pics!

The one on the second picture is just like mine - as a matter of fact it could be mine .

I like the busses too by the way .

manicmechanic.....Great pictures! I don't know if anybody noticed, but in the third, post third picture, that's Fireball Roberts on the right in the white suit. Also in the fourth post, first picture is a car with Starchief stars and Catalina taillights. Keep posting them......John

Bodies or Kleenex?

There's a place called Volmer body shop in San Antonio. I stopped in there to look at a '59 Galaxie one time and inside the office they had a to nof old pictures of San Antonio from 1959. One of the pictures showed a Pontiac dealership and one showed a Buick dealership. The guy in the office told me the owner had the pictures on a cd and would probably burn me a copy. I haven't been back to talk to him but I need to!

If yoy've got any hi-res pictures i have a A0 printer at work, that makes exelent posters . The service guy told us that we have to print somthing with lots of color to keep the jets clean (it usually only prints tecnical drawings with very little ink).

I have already made posters of the old sales brochure from 'old car manual project', and they look great...

If we could obtain a high-res scan of the Dave Cole Pontiac dealership posted above, I'd love to obtain a few poster-size versions of that one!!
