| Anyone notice it's a Catalina with Bonneville trim? Damn I love those 2 dr sedans. But why put Bonneville trim when you could put star chief trim? haha
That car is clean as fuck!

| Sweet looking car. Yeh I noticed the Bonneville bullets. Don't think they do anything for the looks though. Also has 1958 "Tri-Power" emblems. 1959's had gold background, but all in all a very nice car......John | |

| I always liked the 58 tri power emblems better. I think I'm going to put a tri power set up on my star chief eventually since it was an original tri power car. I can't decide if I want to use the correct emblems or the older ones
I agree, I never really thought the "bullets" did much for the Bonnevilles. The stars are just plain cool

| Yeah, It's hard for me to believe. I found a few other guys on Performanceyears.com who said they had 1960 4 door bonnevilles with tri power back in the day. I gguess they did build a few of them. The 4 door tri powers must have been super rare. But what makes it weirder is mine's a star chief with no options except tri power. I could understand a fully loaded 59 bonneville 4 door hard top power everything, AC, power steering, power brakes, 3.23 posi rear end etc etc but a Star Chief with no options??? I wish PHS went back to '59 but according to the block application code it's a 315 horse 2 bolt main 10.25:1 tri power automatic car. And the VIN stamping matches the VIN on my car. I have the original fender badges for it too. I bought it from the original owners grandson. I still have my doubts but maybe the guy ordered it like that??? | |
