| I've never seen a picture of a real one or even a real one.. just the paintings from the old advertisments and the brochure i have from 1959... if so, post some pictures! | |

| thechief, the fellow locally who owns the Cameo Ivory '59 Bonneville Vista is nearing completion on a '59 Bonneville Safari restoration project. His body and paint guy is incredibly slow, but it's moving along. I'll post photos whenever it gets completed.
Hopefully, you'll have a chance to see this one first-hand in the near future.

| Robert, sweet pics thanks for that. I would love to pic up one of those bad boys.. i love station wagons lol
Centurion, sounds awesome! Where is he located-ish? i'm just curious.. lookin foward to the pics later. I pulled the back bumper off mine and discovered the whole back half (about) of the left quarter panel is all bondo. But looking inside the fender its mostly straight so thats a little annoying. but i'm thinking i might just leave it and touch it up a bit. what do you think?

| The Safari wagon currently under restoration is in Tacoma.
No, there were no Star Chief Safaris in '59. The Star Chief lineup was somewhat limited, with only the 4-door Vista, 4-door sedan, and 2-door sedan.
