| Man that is sweet-I love seeing other projects, gives me some inspiration. So are the new springs original specs-in other words is that the height it originally was in 59? Sorry to ask so many questions-I just want to pull the trigger on this one sooner than later. Mark | |

| The springs are OEM sized springs. I re-used the original isolators which were maybe 1/4" thick. It raised the height of my ass end at least 2". I bought the springs from AMES. I believe I paid $119 for the pair and they said it was the last pair from that company. The new company they used cost about $200 a pair so I got lucky. | |

| i got mine out by putting a chain around the coil and lower a-arm and then raising the car up until it popped loose (keep your noodle away from spring just in case!) Undo the chain and pull it out. I cut 2 coils out of mine and it lowered it alot!! Im going to be useing chevy s-10 shocks (going to grab some this week and hope they work) After that i will take the car to a buddy of mine and get it alligned (well, as close as i can LOL) If i had the money (or thought of this before i did it all) i would just get the 2 inch dropped spindles with the disc brake conversion for the front, still might do that someday. | |

| Just rub it in that you have drop spindles available for yours...
S10 springs? Why? Your car weighs 10 times what an S10 weighs hahaha

| So I just received my Jamco 2" lowered springs today-fronts look sweet-about 2 coils lower and a 30% stiffer spring rate. The backs however...well let me ask, are the sedan springs alot wider than the wagon springs, because these dont even come close to fitting. My original wagon springs are narrower, longer (obviously) and have a tighter coil than the ones sent. Could it be that the sedan and the wagon had different sized springs, not just different spring rates??
The old girl is slowly coming along though.
