Bought parts for the year Empty
PostSubject: Bought parts for the year   Bought parts for the year EmptyFri Jan 30, 2009 6:41 pm

Played hooky yesterday and spent the day with the family. Since I was home, I ordered up parts for the year. Crane XRi points to electronic conversion, plug wires, coil, spark plugs, new transmission dipstick, transmission linkage...

Also ordered a few miscellaneous parts to get ready for the Power Tour. Belts, transmission filter, extra plugs, new thermo stat, etc.

Sounds like fun!

Did you go with stock plugs?

What T stat did you go with?

Yup, stock Delco plugs. I will widen the gap a bit though. I got a 180F thermostat.

What are you running in your Robert?

I'm running NGK plugs right now but I found out that they're probably not any better that stock plugs. I have an unused set of stock plugs that I will try out when this thing is on the road. My T stat is a 180 also
