1959 Pontiac Color codes

Thought I'd post the info I found on the exterior and interior paint codes & names.

The one part that confuses me here is that both greens listed for the interior are not labeled as a poly or metallic. I know for a fact my green interior is metallic and it is the origonal paint.

In my never ending search for color codes and paint info I found these today.  Not sure the mixing info translates to anything they can use today but you never know... I have better quality pictures than what I can post here. If you need one just let me know.

And the search continues.  I got the Dupont interior paint chips and codes for all 1959 makes and models from ebay.  According to this the Dupont color code for Pontiac's Sherwood Green is 93199 and the general color name used by Dupont (and probably all other paint manufacturers) is Green Metallic.

If anyone needs the general color name for your interior let me know.  Most of them are shown below. As I found out while researching paint codes, the same color may be used on different makes and models under different color names but there is always a common name and code for that color that was used by the paint manufacturer.
