Subject: Need to know about 1959 front end wiring Tue Oct 20, 2009 12:11 am
I told my mom that I'd build the front wiring harness (head and park lights, horn I guess) on her '59 Biscayne. So, is a Pontiac or Buick the same so I can use the pattern and schematics?
Or is this something that can be bought new? Though I'd rather build one...
Do you guys have the schematics I can work from?

I doubt anything is the same but I bet it's all similar. You'd have much more luck finding schematics or kits for Chevys than you would Pontiac or Buick.

I agree - it's usually harder to find anything but chevy. If you have the old one you could properbly copy it.

if i can get my scanner working then i will scan my 59 diagram that should be the same for the biscayne as mine is a chevy drivetrain too. I imagine you can find it on the net though. As far as ive seen, the pontiac is a little different from the chevy.
