Pics of two tone '59s

Does anyone have pictures of factory 2 tone '59s.

I'm pretty sure my car wears original paint. It's for sure an original 2 tone, silvermist gray and concord blue. BUT I've never seen another '59 with the fins painted the same color as the roof.

What are yall's thoughts? It is a really early '59, (oct 58 I think). Maybe it was an idea carried from '58?

What else is weird is it's a 4 door Star Chief with no options except tri power automatic.

starchief_59.....My dealer album shows that only the roof was a different color on two-tone cars. I think someone got a little creative with yours. I've also seen the body two-toned below the side spear, but this too is not factory original. Yours looks cool though. Maybe Pontiac should have considered it......John

I wish the original owner was still around. I bought it from the original owners grandson who doesn't know shit about cars. So I know he sure as hell didn't paint it

Maybe the original owner did. I'm almost positive the car has original paint but I guess the fins could have been done later.

When I repaint it I'm gunna keep the fins blue and im gunna paint the V in the hood blue also.

i like the two tone, yours will look really cool with the blue. I would love to paint mine the original green but ive been quoted 4 grand and above for a paint job!! Im fine with my tremclad though, just have to repaint the dash again the different green i picked.

The problem with me is I love how it looks now. I don't want a new paint job. but It really does need a new paint job and that one fender has already been rattle canned a way off silver so I need to paint that fender at least.

I'll probably repaint it myself. Why not???
