dupageauto.....your build sheet is interesting, in that I've never seen one that was hand printed. Most of it is easy to understand, except for the scribbling of the first line.
5016 is the sequential body number, meaning it was the 5016th body constructed by the Fisher Body Division at the Atlanta Georgia plant (first body would have been 1001.) 2119 signifies a Catalina (21) four-door sedan (19.)
The options and accessories are; "A"-Hydramatic Transmission, "BA"-Basic Group, "DC"-Decor Group, "P"-Front License Plate Bracket, and "PA"-420E economy engine.
Trim 201 is the code for the upholstery, which is "charcoal "Pasadena" cloth with silver and ivory "Seville Grain Morrokide."
Most of the above is also reflected on the trim tag. The BA before the body number is the code for the Fisher Body plant in Atlanta, Georgia. The A in your Vin tag is for Atlanta also. The paint codes are "A" Regent Black lower body and "C" Cameo Ivory upper body.
Note that on your trim tag, only the Decor Group "DC" is stamped on the accessory line. Keep in mind that, Fisher Body was not the finished car assembly plant, and were only concerned with what they needed to put on the body before sending it to the BOP assembly plant.
Some interesting items on the sales form that I'll mention in a later post. Time for bed......John
