| Hi guys, I am seeking sources/suppliers for the following parts:
1. Turn signal switch
2. Starter
3. Shocks (front & rear)
4. Chrome rear speaker grille (center of back seat)
5. Plastic windshield washer fluid reservoir
6. The ever illusive fuel sending unit (I have seen some of the posts on this website...just wondering if anyone has had success on finding a "new" one that actually works. If I missed that post, I apologize.)
I am open to recommendations on any of the above.
Thanks, | |

| Got a new fuel sender unit from Auto City Classic who have them on Ebay described as for from 61 to 64. Looks exactly the same as the old one I took out to me. I have not installed it yet but expect it to work. Bruce | |

| With respect to the starter motor, I tried purchasing a rebuilt one from both NAPA and Auto Zone. Both suppliers said their units would fit my 59 Pontiac. However, when I tried installing them they did not fit. I finally ended up having my existing starter rebuilt instead of replacing it. That worked out fine. | |

| Maybe someday. It would take a lot of effort to do that and then there is whole problem of trying to figure out how to post pictures on this website! Not user friendly at all. | |

| Lew, here is the easiest way to post pictures. We have a site on http://photobucket.com/Log in as : Pontiac-59 password: widetrack You will see many of our members with albums, you'll make your own album. Upload your pictures to your photobucket album. To post on this site: Click the picture you want to post from your album page. With the single picture showing, on the right side you will see a box "Image Links", below you will see "IMG code", left click on the code and it will say "copied". Now come back to this site. When you decide to "Post a Reply" In the line of symbols above, click on the box that looks like a TV(in the middle) and it will say "image", paste the copied img code. It won't show up until you click on the "preview" tab at the bottom and bingo, your picture shows up. If everything looks good, click "send" and your picture is now in your post _________________ Jim- 1959 Catalina Sport Sedan I cut and pasted this for you Don, Jims simple explanation helped me post pics and I am terrible with these boxes(computers)! | |

| Thank you! It still is incredibly complicated given how easy it is on other websites. Let me know when you get the DVDs. Also I am still interested in the 59 Pontiac rubber floor mats that you have in my old car. I see you have the front mats that look to be in good shape but don't know if you have the rears? Please email me at the address below and let me know how much you want for them. donald.weston@cox.net | |

| Don, I rec'd the DVD's yesterday, thank you. Now I need to find some downtime to watch! The rear mats are in the Vista, I will let you know if I want to sell but they look good in there.

| OK glad you got the DVDs! Please let me know if you decide to sell the mats. Assuming they are in good condition (which I am sure they are), I would be willing to pay $150 for the 4-mat set. | |
