Howdy all, brand new to this site and would just like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Chris but most call me 'Blackjack'. I am based in Silverdale New Zealand and have a hot rod shop (Blackjack's Speed Shop) that specialises in building early thirties hot rods. I have always been a Ford man but my wife is a Pontiac girl through and through and when we bought a '59 Bonneville 2 door hard top it was hard for me not to fall in love with it. We had a lot of fun with it but sold it a few years ago with the plan of replacing it with a better condition one, unfortunately the timing was never right when cars came up for sale but we are now in a position to make it happen. I spend quite a bit of time each year up in the US on buisiness and vacation and my wife and I are planing a big road trip around the US later this year and are on the hunt for a Bonnie to do it. After the trip we plan to leave it up in the US to use whenever we are up there (a lot more practical than the Harley we have up there at the moment).

Thanks Bob, interesting to find a web forum so specific to a particular brand and year. Hopefully we can find what we are looking for and help others along the way.

Hi Chad, thanks for the offer but it's going to be living in the dry climate of Arizona while we are away besides if I wanted it to live in a climate as wet as New Zealand's I would take it back to New Zealand. LOL.
