Hi everyone
I have a 59 catalina 2drht
just redid the bearings in the front
i cant find the torque specifications for the castle nut that holds everything in place

any help would be great.

dsantan.....it's a two step process. With the wheel off the ground, snug the nut up by hand to make sure there are no burrs on the nut or spindle threads. Torque the nut to 17 lb-ft, then back it off slightly. Retorque it to 5 lb-ft. If the slot in the nut lines up with the hole in the spindle, put in the cotter pin. If it doesn't, back it off slightly until it does......John

I've always done them by hand. Snug them up and then back it off and then snug up by hand again
