WOW...Eight years ago, when I began the restoration of my Catalina convertible, if anyone told me there would be a forum just for 59's, I'd have asked them what they were smoking! I use to think that I was the only one who even knew what they were, let alone crazy enough to resurrect one. Anyway good luck with the site, and I hope I can contribute something useful to it. By the way, Robert, there was a guy in Colorado who took the time to go through the P.O.C.I. roster, and find all the known owners of 59's. He contacted them and created a registry of over 120 owners. You might want to contact him and ask him to E-mail his list about this site. It would probably be a good way of getting the word out, and increasing the membership. His name is Michael Frey frey30@juno.com. John

Yeah yeah I know I need to get goin. I did get a start on it though. I did get the Portal going. I want to link the gallery to the portal page. I've been taking days off to work on my car. I guess I need to get goin on my site.

I was one of the first members (25 of 455) on Buick-59.com. It's a great group of guys who are nuts about 59 Buicks. I said OK I'll do it for Pontiacs. Pontiaczone and Hardcorepontiacs are great forums and also great guys but the lack of early pontiac info is kind of frustrating. So, here we are!!!

I will email Micheal and see if I can get that contact list. I need to join POCI. Thanks guys.

By the way, I also want to print up some business cards and send them out to yall to hand out at shows if yall see other 59 pontiacs or maybe leave a few on the rotted dash of a junk yard pontiac for someone else to find. I'll come up with some soon and send them out to yall.
