4.56 gears in my DD

Well I just ordered some 4.56 gears for my daily driver hemi ram. I'm pretty stoked.

I hope you don't drive over 45MPH on a regular basis, lol. Those are some low ass gears for a daily driver!

Not if you have 30" tires and a .67 Over Drive haha

I should be right under 2500 rpms at 70.

Also I'm planning a 5 speed swap which has a 2.88 first instead of a 3.0 and it has a .64 5th instead of my .67. And after these tires I plan on going back to a 31" tire instead of a 30" so that will help a little

I'm so sick of these 3.55s. In a big heavy truck that doesn't really make power under 3500 RPMs I need to get into that power band quicker. I'm hoping it will knock at least half a second off my 1/4 times. My best is 14.52 so I hope I can get into the 13s. Now bad for a pretty much stock truck that weighs 4800 lbs

haha right? So far I'm right at normal mileage. About 225 miles on half a tank.

I'm hoping if I can hook the damn truck up I can run at least a 14.2ish maybe even a 13. I know a few guys have knocked as much as a whole half second off their ETs with a gear swap.

Ah, you must be running an 833 OD 4 speed then.

Almost the exact same ratios as a 833 OD but it's a 545RFE 5 speed auto.

Picked up a Viper T-56 6 speed last week. Hoping to start gathering parts for the 6 speed swap soon. This thing will really be a screamer after the trans swap

No, I called the guy at about noon and he said he'd call me back in an hour after his meeting. He called me back like 5 hours later when I was already at work. Maybe we can do it tomorrow after I get off

Jay, the damn guy called me at 8 AM this morning. I met him before I had to go to work. Ratchets are in good shape. If you don't want them let me know...I kind of like them haha
