| Is this the same car? If so, I already paid for that car 2 years ago. The guy said he crushed it before I could pick it up. I also paid for these 2 cars too. The guy started off wanting like $3,500 for the 59 and the 60 then after months on CL came down to $2,500 then finally $800 so I went to go look at it. I only wanted the 59 but he wouldn't separate them. So I passed. He said OK $500 and I'll throw in the 64 225. I said "How about $200 for the 59?" He said no. The guy called me the next day and $400 you can have all 3. I said OK. I paid for all 3 cars and picked up the 59. I have a friend in Kansas who said he wanted the 60 and the 64. So I said OK give me $200 and you can have the other 2 but I get the rear end and brakes off the 64. He said OK. I never heard from him again, never picked up the cars. A few months later the seller called me and said he already crushed them. I had no idea the guy never picked them up. So technically, if that's the same car...it's mine...or Matt's but he's obviously never going to get it. haha | |

| Ok, definitely the same car. Check out the small white spot on the roof towards the front. Also check out the 2 small rust spots on the driver's fender above the headlights.
I emailed the seller saying WTF I already paid for that car. haha Hopefully he'll just give it to me.

| The seller emailed me back. He said the Milam's are his cousins. Ken Milam was the one who owned the cars and Max is their son and he is the one I paid for the cars. I tried to pay his parents but they said to send the money to Max since he was a college student and they said if he sold the cars he could have the money. Too weird. I thought this car was long gone.
We totally hi jacked this thread from Mark. Sorry Mark. I'm going to test my forum skills and see if I can split this thread into another one

| I had a phpbb board a while back...I know it's super easy, there should be an icon at the bottom to split the thread. You can delete this then. | |

| I just got off the phone with the guy and he's pretty pissed off. His name is Ronnie
This guy is Ronnie, His cousin is Karen who is married to Ken Milam and the cars are on their property. Their son, Max, is a college student and he needed money for tuition. His parents said "get rid of these cars and the money is yours" So he sold the cars to me for $400. I pal pal-ed him the money or sent him a money order or something and I had the 59 delivered and was trying to arrange pick up for the other 2. I don't recall the time frame but not long after I got the 59 Max called me and said "hey man the county crushed the other 2 cars sorry" I said oh well fuck it since I had already sold the 60 and the 64 to another guy who I could no longer get a hold of. I was mad though because if they were going to be crushed I would have just picked them up and stored them at my place. Oh well whatever
So, I emailed this guy a while back (before he posted pictures of the car) and I said "hey does this 60 belong to the Milams" He emailed me back and didn't sound like he knew who the Milams were so that never went anywhere. I don't really remember what happened but maybe it was because he had no knowledge of the cars being previously sold. Now that I see the picture of the car it's definitely the same car and it has not been crushed.
Ronnie told me Max must have flat out lied to me. He said there's no ordinance or anything like that and the 60 has been sitting there for years. I think 68 was when the 59 was parked and the 60 not long after. So the cars have been sitting since the 60s/70s and the county never said shit about them.
He's going to call his cousin tomorrow and he said he's going to make it right and he said his cousin will probably just tell me to pick it up since I already paid for.
I emailed my friend Matt, the guy who paid me for the cars, and see if he still wants it. If not I'll probably part it out. I'd like to keep the brakes and the rear end
Jay, the body is pretty nice but the windshield is gone, the dash is gone, I don't remember if there were seats or not but I know the floor boards were gone. If you look at the pics the 60 was impossible to get to because of all the trees and weeds surrounding it so I never really got a good look at them.
Damn this is a pretty wild story

| hah me either. School from 11-3:30 and I usually work nights 6pm-2AMish. It's tough to get on a schedule
Well, I shot my buddy Matt in Kansas an email last night telling him what was up with his car. He said he still wants it bad so I told him I'd pick it up and store it for him. He has an asshole load of 59-64 GMS and I know he has a few 60 buicks.

| I got an email back from him today. He said the county did get on to them about their junk and one car was crushed but the 60 is still there. He said he's not sure if it was the 64 that was crushed but I'm assuming it was. Maybe not crushed but someone hauled it away.
You should have seen that 64. The B pillar was pushed in about to the middle of the car it was T boned so hard. I talked to the lady who was driving it. She said a T bird flew through a stop sign or red light or something and T boned her. Looks like the T bird was going like 200 mph because that car was hit good. The lady said she walked away without a scratch haha
She also told me all their buicks were stripped of the nailheads and put in trucks to move their boats around. They run a fishing guide business
