| Playing around again with songs. Just have to go somewhere with these so I thought I'd drop 'em off here. Let me know if you don't want to see these? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y8b8URh21kJohn Fogerty Who'll stop the Rain Who'll stop the king Long as I remember, his car has been around Lots of stories tellin', his car has earned the crown Good men thru the ages, tried to shut him down And I wonder, still I wonder, who'll stop the king I was trollin' main street, seeking someone to put down Saw him as he passed by, I watched him turn around Saw him in my mirror, heard his headers sing And I wonder, still I wonder, can I stop the king People will be tellin', how I scratched and clawed My car had him worried, trying to keep up Still he kept on pullin', screamin' thru the gears And I wonder, Still I wonder, who'll stop the King. | Had an actual request over on PY. Cherokee Nation by Paul revere https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsMQbedCZj0&feature=player_embeddedPontiac Nation They took our whole Pontiac Nation Over and done was our designation Claimed our cars had no more life Cut out our hearts with a golden knife They took away our Bonneville Said it was mis-sing all its thrill And mak ing new cars will not last Can only live now in the past Pontiac nation Pontiac tribe So proud to live To proud to die They said the Tin Indian Nation Is not worth their preservation Although we swear this isn't right They still won't listen to our plight Pontiac Nation Pontiac Tribe So proud to live To proud to die But maybe some day when they've learned Pontiac Nation will return Will return will return Will return will return Mark L | |

| Wrote a kind of dark one. Phil Collins In the air tonight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=manxPVTLth8&feature=player_embeddedI could see you comin' down the street tonight, oh lord Well I've been waiting just to meet you all my life, oh lord Can you fell it, hate is in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord And when they told me you would be here, I put my gun in hand I've seen your face before my friend, but I don't know if you know who I am I was there and I saw what you did, saw it with my own two eyes I saw you kill my two sons, their lives just begun We all saw the way they died And I can feel it, dying's in the air tonight, oh lord Well I've been waiting for this moment all my life, oh lord You will feel my hating in the air tonight, oh lord I've been waiting just to kill you, all my life, oh lord, oh lord Well I remember, I remember-don't worry, how could I ever forget It's the first time, and the last time we'll ever meet But I know the reason why you keep on showing up, no you don't fool me Well your pride always shows, as my pain still grows Death's no stranger to you and me You will feel me sending you to hell tonight, oh lord I've been waitng for this moment to take your life, Oh lord You will feel me sending you to hell tonight, oh lord I've been waitng for this moment to take your life, Oh lord Feel me sending you to hell tonight, oh lord I've been waitng for this moment to take your life, Oh lord Feel me sending you to hell Feel me sending you to hell Well I've been waitng for this moment all my life, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu,hu hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, hu, Been waiting for this moment, all my life, My life, MArk L | |

Be young and wild and free Just like Pontiac in 1960 | |

| Here's the old version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEBgRF1hkDAI can hear the wind whisper my name Tellin’ me it’s time to head out again My horses are trailered and the lights are shutdown I’m long overdue for headin’ outta town Gotta fever that they call the rodeo Just enough winnings to make the next show Sometimes you make eight sometimes you hit dirt Go on pin another number to the back of my shirt… (chorus) And I’ll ride that pony fast Like a cowboy from the past Be young and wild and free Like Texas in 1880 Just like Texas in 1880 Awe, from Phoenix to Tulsa to the Astro Dome From New York City down to San Antone There’s boys that are ridin’ for legendary fame And our money’s all gone but we still ride the same Our hearts are getting’ broken And our heads are getting’ busted We’ll always believe in the things that we trusted They’ll be those nights when glory comes round And we’ll tip our hats and wave to the crowd… Someday when you’re older someone’ll see That buckle hangin’ there on your belt Askin’ just how it felt… Radney Foster is a great songwriter who has had a few hits over the years. He plays at my work once or twice a year. He also wrote "Nobody Wins" which was a hit in the ealy 90s and also did "Just call me lonesome" which I don't ever remember hearing until a few years ago but it was also a hit in the early 90s. He also did "I'm In" which I don't know how big it was but it's a great song also | |

| I did it again. Supertramp, Take the Long Way Home https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yz5dP4m9tY&feature=player_embeddedMade the wrong choice Homes You were drunk, knew you had ta go Forgot your keys and were feelin' low Made the wrong choice Homes Made the wrong choice Homes Lost your way thru the neighborhood Lost your lunch you weren't feelin' good Made the wrong choice Homes Made the wrong choice Homes There were times when you feel your guts were so firey All that food you ate, was coming up, boy Then your wife saw you start to puke on the furniture Oh, it's hard for her, she used to be so nice. Lonely drinks turn to lonely nights Lies and screaming dosen't make it right You made the wrong choice Homes Made the wrong choice Homes You'll never be what you want to be Forever sleeping in the alley way You made the wrong choice Homes Made the wrong choice Homes And when you scream in your rage, it's so unbelievable unforgivable, how they abhore you Now your mind starts to think you're losing your sanity Oh, insanity, is there no way out Did it feel that your life became a catastrophe? Oh, it has to be you hit your low, boy . When you look through the years and see what you could have been, Oh, what you should have been If you'd had more brains. So, when that day came to settle down, Who's to blame that you weren't around You made the wrong choice Homes You made the wrong choice Homes You made the wrong choice Homes You made the wrong choice Homes You made the wrong choice Homes You made the wrong choice Homes You made the wrong choice Homes Wrong way Homes Wrong way Homes Wrong way Homes Wrong way Homes Wrong way Homes Wrong way Homes Wrong way Hommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmes Mark L | |
