Radney Foster is a great songwriter who has had a few hits over the years. He plays at my work once or twice a year. He also wrote "Nobody Wins" which was a hit in the ealy 90s and also did "Just call me lonesome" which I don't ever remember hearing until a few years ago but it was also a hit in the early 90s. He also did "I'm In" which I don't know how big it was but it's a great song also
