| Do yalls doors unlock when you open the door from the inside of your '59? Is there was a to make it so they don't unlock when you open the door from the inside? | |

| Yup, that's the way all older ones worked. In order to lock them you have to hold the button in on the outside when you close the door. | |

| All my others doors don't unlock from the inside if you pull the handle, only the drivers door.
On the other 3 doors, if it's locked, and you pull the handle from the inside, it won't open unless you pull the lock knob up. The driver's door automatically pulled the knob up when you pull the handle.
Know what I mean? I want the driver's door to be like the rest of them | |

| my 59 Star Chief does that and so does my 63 Bonneville, i think its a safty feature so you can get out in an emergency..........like when my hubcap came off!!!!! that door came open with haste | |

| I want to shave the door handles and rig up a lever to the inside door handle but I still want to be able to use the lock. But if I lock it and my lever is hooked to the inside of the door handle it will open even though I locked it.
I want a manual door popper, I don't want any more electronics than it already has | |
