| Hey all,
So I bought a '59 Pontiac Strato Chief (Canadian model... I'm in Edmonton, Alberta) recently and was ushered here by a fellow '59 enthusiast.
It needs a big pile of love, but it was an offer I couldn't refuse... $800 for a 2-dr post, and I'm not sure if it's got a 235 or a 261 in it... (because I haven't even gotten it home yet and those 2 engines are pretty similar), but I do know that's it's got a 3-speed on the column it's that slick ice-blue color that turns to a boring grey after sitting in the sun for 50 years.
I'm the 3rd owner of this thing, and the second owner didn't even touch it.
It's had NO work done to it in any other than routine maintenance while it was still being driven, and I just finished grinding what was left of the original tires of the front wheels...
My goal is to be able to drive it before the snow hits, and get to work on body work over the winter. It should be super-dope by next spring and I'm gonna drive the shit out of it.
That's my deal.
Thanks for letting me join your club. | |

| Hell yeah! I'd buy a 2 dr post for 800$ even if only the body is Pontiac. Show us some pictures when you get a chance! What are your plans? I bet a V8 4 speed transplant wouldn't be that hard....I couldn't resist | |

| Man that's awesome! Let me know if you ever want to get rid of those back up light deletes and put in some real back up lights. I love those back up light deletes | |
