Ebay - '59-'60 4 bbl NASCAR Intake

Here you go guys. I know some have been looking for a 4bbl manifold and this would be an awesome one to have.

I've asked him about international shipping...if its OK i'll proberbly put in a bet. How much should somthing like this cost - any sugestions ?

Haven't personally come across one of these before. I did check and the numbers are correct from my sources. Wouldn't be surprised if it pulls some BIG money. I've seen rare manifolds go for over $500. Was a dual tri power (yes, 2 - 3x2 setups side by side) edelbrock manifold to fit our ponchos one time that went for $650.

I don't know, An aftermarket 4 barrel intake can cost a few hundred bucks, add on some more $$$$ because this one is super rare.

If I really wanted a 4 barrel intake for my Pontiac I would easily pay 300$-400$ for it. Maybe more

There's also a 59 389 motor "rebuilt" for $750 that comes with a 4 barrel intake.

Saw that engine on there.

I wouldn't want a 6X2 set up. Think about tryin to tune that thing!!!


I did really REALLY want that mickey thompson cross ram dual quad soooo bad. I think I bid over 600$ but no luck.

Would only have to tune 2 - 2bbls. The other carbs are fixed, all you have to do is adjust how much and when they open. Easy.

Screw that, 2 carbs are hard enough. Can you get strombergs without idle circuits?

Not sure. I don't know that you can find any 4bbl without an idle circuit. 2bbl I would assume so but not 4bbl.

Yeah, as far as I know you can't find a 4 barrel without an idle either.

I just posted it cause I know there's been some talk about getting 4bbl manifolds. I'm sticking with my Tri Power.

I'm definitely sticking with my dual quads but that would be a neat part to have laying around. I wonder how many of those they made.

It's pretty expensive already... I figured i'd save some on the shipping by buying an aluminium intake, but i guess that would not cut it here.

I wonder what the reserve is?
