close to 200 hp with my 283!! yeah!! LOL will be a little over 230 if i decide to put my 4 barrel intake and carb on. Now... if i could afford the 5 grand for an original fuelie system i'll be at 283hp.!!

I had my Catalina weighed for registration in denmark. It was 2000 Kg without spare and jack.

Factory lists the weight of the Starchief Vista at #4155 with Hydra-Matic. Knock off #115 for the 3 speed manual. Catalina is #50 less, Bonneville is #30 more. Only equivalent hardtop is the Bonneville Sport Coupe at #4085. Figure an additional #6 per gallon of gas, #2 per Quart of coolant, #4 for oil, plus accessories. They ain't light!......John
