| Last time I was out in the garage I started my car up just to piss the neighbors off. It started right up and then died and wouldn't start again. It was cold and I didn't want to f$%k with it, so I left it and went back inside. I went out there today and checked the timing, it was a little off, but I still couldn't get it to start. I haven't checked for spark yet. I'm not too worried about it now since it's not goin anywhere anytime soon. I did get my drive shaft redone today. They told me it would be done in the morning, then they called back an hour later and said it was done Shortened 2"s and all new U joins and repacked carrier bearing! I put it in today and it fits nicely! Next is brakes, fuel lines, brake likes, and that damn clutch linkage Soon I'll be | |

| I've had mine for almost as long as I've owned the car so probably about 8 or 9 years. | |

| Yup, bought it February 1999. So right at the 10 year mark. And I've kept it driveable during the restore so I've been enjoying it that long and not just having it sit in the garage. | |

| check this out....OUT OF GAS hahahah who would have thought that dual quads would drink gas like crazy The front carb is leaking from somewhere. It might be the gasket. I hope it's the gasket. Damn it runs good with both carbs hooked up together! Driveshaft all the way in now. I'm gunna work on the clutch linkage next who needs brakes? haha | |

| haha who the hell would have thought that dual quads would suck down 2 gallons of gas in less than 5 minutes of run time?
And I need some mufflers, that bitch is way too loud

| Well when you're running WOT that 2 minutes, what do you expect? The Tri Power sucks it in pretty good too.
As far as mufflers go. I have packs I burned out with oil years ago and I find it annoying now. I'll be switching to 2 baffles either this year or next.

| I just want to buy some cheap 3" mufflers to put on temporarily. I'll run glasspacks when I put it on the road. | |

| I wanted something old school. I figured Cherry bomb or Thrush glasspacks would be pretty sweet. It might be too damn loud though. I might have to run the exhaust all the way out the back | |

| Because they run so far back, it doesn't sound bad inside the car. I just want mine toned down now. | |

| Yeah, I hear ya. I really want side pipes but that's not the best idea on a 4 door, unless you don't quite run them all the way out. But I think it will be too loud. | |
