Coldest day in over 5 Years!

Well the title says it all. It's -27F this morning with a -46F windchill!

You boys down south should come on up here and experience the 100F temperature difference.

haha screw that! It was cold today...about 30. I can't hardly handle that. I can't even imagine 10 degrees. Let alone 40 under.

I work at a bar called "Gruene Hall" which is the oldest dancehall in Texas, So it's pretty touristy. When I work day shifts I meet all kinds of crazy tourists and this time of the year I'd say 50% of all tourists that come in are from Minnesota. It's kind of weird

Ya, they're all whinning that it's too cold now and our tourist places have seen a 30% increase in business over the last week. Can't handle the cold so they whine about needing to get to a warm climate.

when i get to mexico im gonna come up and visit you there texas boy and kick your butt for all the comments about how warm it is there!! LOL!! of course when im in mexico i wont care anyways!! i figure it would be about a 18 hr. drive from lake chappala to your place, hope the old beast can do it!!

maybe when i do move i'll come visit ya first before i cross the border. I do like swimming and girls (im married but i have really dark sunglasses!!) lol. So far it sounds like this move will happen in three years (thats when my wifes parents retire) and i must say im really looking forward to driveing my car year round!!

yeah. My mother in law is even starting to learn spanish. Weve done alot of research and it sounds like a done deal. We will go a couple times first of course to make sure we like it there. Cant wait!!

i want the change! I hate the cold and snow, always have. Never been a winter kind of guy and i dont ski,skidoo, or any of that winter junk!! I want sun, sand and a nice long stretch of highway!!
