I posted my 59 Buick on CraigsList a few weeks ago. I don't really want to sell it but I need the money.
Anyway, So I get this call, sounds like a younger guy, and he asked some random questions and all of them were answered in the listing. He also asked my asking price which is also listed clearly. He sounded like he was taking notes and then repeated my number and said "I'm gunna look some things up and get back to you." WTF???
Weirdest phone call about a car I've ever gotten. The whole conversation was awkward and he didn't sound interested in the car. I thought about calling him back and asking who the fuck he was. I don't know about yall but I always get these spam emails when selling stuff asking "What is present condition, what is final asking price etc etc...." It was just like that but via phone.
My only thought is he might relist it on craigslist to try to get someone to buy it from him and then somehow rip them off. I don't know.
"so whats the interior like?(pause) Ok and how well does it run?(pause) OK and what is your asking price" I think he was taking notes during his paused.
