Anyone Hunting?

Going deer hunting this weekend. Heading off to SE North Dakota. Just curious who else will be heading out.

I don't do much hunting anymore but we have a ranch in South Texas. My dad usually shoots a few deer a year. I think we shot about 10 hogs the first year we had the place.

I guess you're hunting white tail?

Yep white tail.

Filled 5 of 5 tags and we had a great time again this year. Will have to post up pics when I get them off my camera.

Damn, that awesome. I shot my first deer on my 9th birthday which happened to be opening morning in 1995. haha Dropped an 8 pointer with a 243, still hangin' on the wall at my parents house. I shot my second deer the next year, a spike, dropped him also. I quit hunting after that and my brother dropped like 10 deer within the next 10 years with that same gun. I don't know what it is about that 243 but it drops those damn deer.

I just bird hunt now. It's much harder. Deer meat tastes better though.
