I decided to sell my slicks and throw the money straight into my pontiac. I decided I'd rebuild my 4 barrels with the money...I didn't know it would cost me all the money I got for my tires
$145 each. Seems outrageous to me I'd do it myself except I've never done it before and so many things can go wrong with one i can't imagine 2. haha So I'll get it done right the first time.

When I got the tri power I was going to have the carbs rebuilt but they wanted $300 each!!!! I learned how to rebuild a carb REALLY quick.

The $145 you were quoted? That would make sense though since I was quoted $300 for 1 two barrel.
If you can rebuild an engine you can rebuild a carb. Just be cafeful when disassembling and pay attention. It's really not that difficult. The worst part is getting you float levels and pump rod adjusted correctly. If you measure those right you're golden.
