I'm Building a 59 for HOT ROD's Drag Week

Hi, I love old Pontiacs and was glad to find this web site a while back.
I have a 59 four door sedan that I am building as a sleeper for
Hot Rod magazines Drag Week competition. Last year I took a four
door Buick and it was called the Granny car or the Hillbilly car, it is in
the Jan. 2011 issue. I'm thrashing to get the 59 done so we can show
back up this year and call it grandpas car. The car is so big and the
paint is so ugly. . . . . I mean it has soooo much patina that no one
will expect it to run fast. It will be good for some laughs.

I love that video of Calvin's '59, I met him and his son 2 or 3 years ago at a
NMCA race at Memphis. The 2 door hard top's are beautiful!
Watching the video does give incentive.
