1959 Pontiac picture post

I like it other than the separated headlights. That is what ruined the '59 Olds in my opinion. '59 Olds are BEAUTIFUL cars until you see those god damn separated head lights.

Looks like a '60 buick grill??? The bumper looks too bulky. For a custom like that it might look better with a smaller bumper or if they had it scaled to the right size it might look ok.

You know, maybe a '59 Pontiac wouldn't look so bad with a flat hood instead of the huge V. Sure would look a lot cleaner. That's why I love '59 buicks. I don't think there is a damn thing you could change to make it look any better than how it left the factory

Thats a sick Pontiac ha. Personally, i love all of the '59 GM cars as is from the factory. I would kill for a 59 Olds i love those. I found one for sale over in eastern washington a couple weeks ago it was awesome.. to bad i didn't have $9000 just layin around. I almost wonder after looking at that picture for a minute if that grill on the green Pontiac is off of a 59 Olds....

Now I see why they built the bird beak nose. Dat dare mech grille jus ain't wides anough for dat dare big ol'Poontiac. hehehe. I think it is just right . I do like the regular headlights together but it does really widen the look even more. I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eatin' crackers. Mark Ln

yeah that Merc grill is the one. Thats cool! ha i would never put a Ford part on a Pontiac tho i'd just as soon light the thing on fire. but hey it looks cool ha.

Stay focused and don't get discouraged. I remember for a while there was like a whole year that I didn't touch my car. Don't do that

yeah i already did that for about a month because of school and no money... i hate it when that happens. i have a big problem on the back lip of the roof tho.. and that really broke my heart haha it'll be good tho i want to find another 59 GM 4dht to cut off of.. i think i found one but i'm not sure yet. neither of the back corners that touch the top edge of the vista window exist anymore. thats the discouraging part

Where exactly are you in Washington? I know a kid in Kent who knows old cars pretty well. Maybe he could help you out finding a roof

His name is Alex. He has a 64 and a 66 Buick Electra 226. Both white 4 doors pretty nice. I think he's 18 years old
