What is it? It's got the 59/60 GM A pillar but I can't ID the rest of the body. Definitely not buick or Pontiac or olds or chevy and doesn''t appear to be caddy

It's a Cadillac. Looks to be a Miller-Meteor body or possibly an S&S combination (hearse and ambulance). Hard to tell from this angle what year, might be a 1964.

Cadillac commercial chassis (limo, hearse and ambulance) used the 1959-60 roofline through 1964 due to the larger windshield.

Robert looks good. Easy fix or is there deeper damage? Frame OK? It looks like a keeper. Mark L

its slightly tweaked but not bad at all. Definitely worth putting back together. It's supposed to be a real 4 speed car. It has the correct console and shifter which are both impossible to find so maybe it is real. I'm going to PHS it

When I do a gasser it's going to be something older. I don't think I could bring myself to do a 62 Pontiac gasser.

Yeah, it's already mostly taken apart. If you didn't see those pics you'd have to look close to even tell it's been wrecked. It looks like it's just missing the front clip.

I'm trying to find a good front clip locally so I can just bolt the whole thing on together. He is throwing in a set of fenders and a hood but they're not that great. I really need a $500 parts car with good bumpers and a good front clip

Unfortunately, not '62 Caddy parts...Sad It was a little more than I wanted to tackle floors and trunk were rotted out. I know new pans were available, but I'm getting old...

I just want to look. Maybe find a wiring harness for my mom's 59.

I wish you could have been to Nicks Wrecking a few years ago. The entire yard was like pre 1980 vehicles. I know at one point they had at least 8 59/60 Chevys. I think they have maybe 2 or 3 now and they're pretty well gutted

You need a Pontiac anyway...Maybe a Buick

Spent the day stripping the front end off of the Cat. Will get pic tomorrow. Going to cut the firewall and move the engine back. Looking Fiberglass front fenders, bumper, hood, and trunk. Last Sunday went to a swap meet. I needed some tires just to support the Cat while it gets moved around. Found some 275 60 15s on chevy truck 5X5 8 inch rims. Had to roll the inner wheel lip but they look good on it.

And I received my new used 325 cfm KRE D-Ports yeterday for the turbo 389 build

With Roberts block, these heads, and a lot of boost, This '63 should be killer. Still churning over what trans to use. I'm leaning heavy towards a manual of some sort. We'll see.

2.11 intake and 1.66 exhaust. Great size for my build. 4.150 bore. With boost and these heads it will flow pretty well. MarkL

Damn must be nice. The SBC 1.94 intake valves barely fit in the chambers on my 1962 heads

Mark, I don't mean anything against you. I just don't understand how some companies are run so poorly but stay in business for so long while mom and pop stores have great service but can't stay in business for more than 9 months.

I offered to drop it off to make it easier on everyone. I don't have time to wait around all day for them to maybe pick it up and maybe not. I have plenty of time to spend an hour loading it up and dropping it off at a fed ex store. No problem

Again, no offense to you Mark. I know it's not your fault and it's really no burden on me. I just think it's bullshit that you're waiting for your motor and you can't even get a straight answer if it's been picked up or not. Your son told me two or three times that they said it would be picked up only to find that it wasn't. What kind of business is that?

No apologies necessary, I agree completely with you. It's just crazy that anything you buy is broke or dosen't work, any sevice you use turns out crap, any customer service is non existant and so full of shit and it just gets worse form there. It's just unbelievable. Matt was going to get in touch again today to find out what happened. Don't beat yourself up over this, it is in no way your fault. Just giving you a heads up. As much as hope it is still sitting there if it has not been picked up, I feel bad that anyone had to look at it sitting there for days when it should have gone out right away. I'll let you know when I know. Tal toyou later.
