Looks like im not the first one in this forum from Finland.
Few years ago my wife was looking local carmaniacs forum overdrive.fi and she spotted 59 catalina vista for sale.
In that time we allready had two 63 Mercurys, two Pontiacs (64 catalina 4d sdn and 85 Parisienne Safari) and a 63 Fairlane and 82 4x4 chevy pick-up.
So i would say we had more than enough cars allready.
But a woman in love, with a car and i personally always been wanted to have 50´s cruiser with big tailfins...
So we go and buy it.
what a rotten shit it was when we started to look it closely.
Now the engine has been pulled up, washed and painted.Changed flexplate and starter (the flexplate was the reason to pull the engine out.And finally all put back together.
This winter i started to fabricate new floorpans and they allmost been welded in place.
Next summers goal is going to be registration and probably daily driving.
