Who has power steering on their Pontiac?

Can I have a picture of the outside frame where the box bolts to the frame?

I got this power steering box for Christian but the bolt pattern looks different than the manual box on mine. I'd like to know for sure that it will work before I waste a bunch of his money on a part he can't use.

I may have pics I took before yanking out the steering gear. I'll search when I get home.

Hey, i am very grateful anyway, and as is said there is no sweat...after all the car is running fine (if it was not for the serious winter conditions outside).

I also promissed you some posters, that i did'nt get around to ship yet, so i havent been the fastest either ... The project stranded on me needing a suitable packaging, but don't worry - i am also getting there .

Hey Robert, i am getting a little worryed that the package - it may be stuck in customs or something - i havent heard anything yet, and normally it would not last any longer than 3 weeks. I was wondering if you have a tracking number or something, so that i can check with customs ?.

This is a heavy package, so it may take longer than usual...

I'll have to check to see if I got a tracking number. I have shipped a few things over seas and I think they all took longer than 3 weeks. How long has it been?

About 4 weeks i think... lets give it another week or two . But if you do have a tracking number i'll be happy to check on it.

I have been bussy buying myself a new workshop... more on that later - when i get the keys i'll take some pictures.

I found my Customs form but I don't see the receipt. It might be in my truck. This says it was mailed out the 7th of Jan. So it's been a month.

Let me find the receipt and see if there's a tracking number on it. Can you track stuff overseas?

Usually i have had no problem tracking, though i have only tried a few times....it should just be a matter of entering the number on the opropriate web site i guess..

I'm still trying to find the receipt. I always keep USPS receipts so I know I have it. I'll let you know

You can't.

I didn't think so but Christian says you can.

It may depend on the shipper - it may have been TNT or UPS or something, but it did work... It is very likely that you can't with USPS...

That's what I was thinking. I think you can with UPS but not USPS. I'll call them tomorrow and see if there is anyway to track it

UUHHH I just got a call from my dad and he said the post office in san antonio said they have a power steering unit FROM Denmark that they can't deliver because it's leaking fluid and they won't ship it. They said they've had it since Jan 3rd. WTF?


I'm going to go pick it up today. Hopefully I can remail it and not have to pay fuckin $120 again
