Need some advice

I'm looking at a '59 4 door Cat sedan. The owner sent some pics but there is some body damage on the passenger side rocker panel and the rear door bottom. It is also on the dog leg and the upper door. Please look at the pics and see if you think it is worth $2500. And if any body men out there can specualte on the rocker repair. The dog leg and the door does not concern me but the rocker, if needing removal to fix is beyond me. Unless it can be pulled out??? The car is a good runner (needing carb rebuild), the interior has recovered seats but will need attention. I'm mostly concerned with the body condition. Done deal! I think you should inspect it in person. I would hope to get that for about 1500-2000

Hey Robert, thanks for posting the pics and advice. I'm not sure he will go lower than $2400 but I asked for more pictures directly covering the lower rocker panel on the passenger side. He feels there is not that much damage or the pic is at a bad angle. I will know better if he sends good pics of it. Then I will make a decision. Thanks for you help. Mark L

$2400 isnt to bad man i got mine for $2500 and its not in quite as nice of shape

Hey Robert, there is one other pic of the passenger side showing both doors but mostly the rocker panel. That is where my biggest concern is. Unless it is just me or the picture angle, it looks like the rocker panel is folded under. Maybe it's just me. See if you can post it so others can see too. This is what I'm mostly worried about. There's a reflection of a mail box in the window. Look real close at the rear door and rocker panel. It looks like the rear door bottom and the rocker is rolled under???? Mark L
