I'm getting ready to order parts for the year. Need to get a few things ready for power tour. points-electronic conversion, directional switch, a few minor electrical intermitten shorts, couple floor patches, just minor things this year since I have her running like a top.

Junk yard. I have a '59 cat I steal stuff off of that no one knows about. Very Happy

It's in the back corner of a yard that cannot be accessed to yank the car for scrap so I go down there and wander in. Since the car is scrap as far as the yard is concerned I get parts extremely cheap. Any progress? 770732

Same thing here - wet and cold. Car is tugged away for the winter, and is pretty much inacessible. I did sneak in to start it the other day, and after 3 months and at -10 C it fired right up.

Current plans for the future :

Realistic : Installing a AC compressor for on board air. For future airride system, and for powering a 3 ship airhorns that i got from a ship scrapyard. It is going to be hidden between the radiator and the grille.

The wishful thinking :

Airride !. I am having clearance trouble in the back when pulling the caravan, so i might start of with hijackers.

I am considering one of those holly injection systems, that uses a 4 brl throttlebody - oh well, maybe next year.... cheers

Mine is accessible. It's in my garage. The parts car I use isn't accessible so they junk yard can't scrap it. Ensures me having parts when I need them.

Got some thingsdone that were needed for my car and finally stored it away for the rest of the winter. I'm not a mechanic so I have to take my car to a mechanic to get things done. The mechanic loves it and treats it like his baby which is good. Next repair is getting the radio fixed. It turns on and crackles but doesn't work.

Ok. If you were closer, I'd send you to a guy up near Fargo, ND that does great radio restorations for very reasonable rates.
